PDFFast is built on a simple privacy principle: your files never leave your device. Every PDF tool on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. No file you select or process is ever transmitted to our servers — because we do not have servers involved in file processing.

When you use a tool, the file is loaded directly into your browser's memory. All processing — merging, splitting, compressing, converting, signing, redacting — happens locally on your own device. The output file is generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.

We have no technical ability to access, read, or store your files because they are never sent anywhere. This is not a policy choice — it is an architectural one.

3. Information We Collect

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics data such as page views, browser type, and referring URL to understand how the site is used. This data is never linked to individual users and contains no personal information.

Some tools use open-source WebAssembly libraries (such as Tesseract.js for OCR) that may fetch language model data from a CDN on first use — this is always disclosed on the relevant tool page. We do not sell or share any information with third parties.

PDFFast is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
